Primary Air Adjustment
The fireplace has a conveniently located primary adjustment screw mechanism and is easily accessible
and adjustable without having to remove the glass door. The adjustment screw controls the primary
combustion air to the gas burner.
Caution: Burner area may be hot! Turn OFF the fireplace and allow the unit to cool before
proceeding.
To adjust primary air:
With the fireplace OFF and cool to touch, remove the Safety Screen to access the adjustment screw.
See "Safety Screen Removal" section in this manual.
Note: The primary air is pre-set closed at the factory for Natural Gas fuel. Some adjustment
may be necessary to obtain desired flame and to eliminate carbon deposits. Evaluate flame
appearance after the fireplace is lit and has reached operating temperature.
Propane fueled models require the primary air to be partially opened.
