Turn ON the fireplace and allow it to reach operating
temperature before adjusting. Rotate the Primary
Air Adjustment screw clockwise to close or counter-
clockwise to open or increase the amount of primary
air. See Figure 60.
Open primary air shutter if the burner media, logs, viewing glass, and/or the firebox have carbon
accumulation and/or the flames are long, dark and stringy. Close if the flame is straight, blueish and
transparent.
Reinstall the Safety Screen back into its original position.
