Vent Pipe Shield

Warning: All installation must include the Vertical Vent Pipe Shield, regardless of vent

pipe rise and/or run combination. The Horizontal Vent Shield is only required if there is

an elbow in the vent pipe within the space below its position.

A two piece Vent Pipe Shield is supplied with the fireplace. A Vertical Shield and a Horizontal Shield.

Position the Vertical Shield on top of the fireplace cabinet as shown in Figure 36. Fasten in place with

screws provided.

Position the Horizontal Shield at the top of the Vertical Shield and fasten in place with screws.
