Venting
Only qualified, license, or trained personnel should install this fireplace and its venting system.
Note: This fireplace is certified for use with 5” x 8” rigid coaxial venting components only.
Mixing venting components from different manufacturers is not allowed.
Only the following 5 x 8" vent terminations are approved for use with this fireplace: Use of any other
vent terminations is not allowed.

Fire stops must be used wherever the venting passes through a wall, floor or ceiling.
Various combinations of vertical and horizontal runs may be used (Figure 35 & Figure 36) . For optimum
performance and flame appearance, keep the vent length to a minimum and limit the number of elbows.
Connections between each vent system component must be tightly joined, secured with sheet metal
screws and sealed with provided high temperature self adhesive tape. A horizontal run of vent should
have a ¼" rise for every 1 ft. of run towards the termination.
Caution: Proper Vent System clearance to combustible material must be maintained.
