7.6 Adjusting the leg support

7.6.1 Adjusting the height of the leg support

a) Standard and angle-adjustable leg support

1)  Loosen the Allen head screws (see fig. 89, item 1).
2)  Adjust the leg support to the desired height (lower leg length).
3)  Tighten the Allen-head screws.

b) Angle-adjustable leg support for short lower leg lengths

For adjustment, the leg support can be mounted so it is facing downward (short lower leg length, see fig. 91) or
upward (standard, see fig. 90) as needed.
1)  Loosen the Allen head screws (see fig. 90, see fig. 91, item 1).
2) 

If necessary:

 Pull the leg support down and off, rotate it and slide it onto the tubes of the leg support adapter.

3)  Adjust the leg support to the desired height (lower leg length).
4)  Tighten the Allen head screws (see fig. 90, see fig. 91, item 1).
5)  Check whether the leg support can be folded up or down without difficulty.

INFORMATION: Folding the leg support up and down is described in the instructions for use (user).

6)  If the heel guide catches on the seat when folding down the leg support, the height of the heel guide can be

fine-tuned:

Loosen the screws on the back of the heel guide.

Adjust the height of the heel guide.

Firmly tighten the screws on the heel guide.

Check whether the leg support can be folded up or down without difficulty. If not, continue adjusting until
the leg support can be folded readily.
