6.1 Headrests
6.1.1 Head support pads, adjustable laterally
INFORMATION
The back support cover should first be removed to make the installation tasks described below easier.
1) Open the zip at the top of the pad (see fig. 8) and fold the back support pad forward.
2) Guide each of the mounting screws from the front through the slotted hole in the lateral head support and
through the bore hole in the back support (see fig. 12, item 1). The pointed sides of the support pads face
down, the rounded sides face up.
3) Place the knurled nuts on the screws on the rear of the back support and slightly tighten them.
4) Adjust the distance of the lateral head supports if needed (see page 32).
5) Tighten the knurled nuts.
6) Put the back support pad back on and close the zip at the top of the pad (see fig. 8). Pull the lateral head sup
ports through the pad while doing so.

6.1.2 Integrated head support with slight lateral support
Assembly is done at the factory following receipt of an order.
The width of the head section can be adjusted: see page 33.
6.1.3 Head support, individually adjustable

To adjust the head support: see page 33.
INFORMATION
The option "head support, individually adjustable" is used in combination with a short back support.
6.1.3.1 Mounting the head support
The support is mounted on a head support holder (see fig. 18):
1) Loosen and remove the Allen head screws (see fig. 13, no. 1) on the adapter (see fig. 13, no. 2) on the back of
the support.
2) Insert the ball joint head (see fig. 14, no. 1) of the head support holder with the shaped plate (see fig. 14,
no. 2) in the adapter.
3) Align the shaped plate so the bore holes of the shaped plate and the adapter are in a straight line (see fig. 13,
see fig. 14).
4) Insert and tighten the Allen head screws to
5 Nm
.
5) Check that the support is securely attached.
