Pull on the inner hand and seal it with 633F11 Silicone Grease. Remount the lock ring.
Attention ! Allow the patient to rest during the adjustment of the electrodes to avoid fati-
gue, and thus incorrect electrode settings (i.e. excess sensitivity). The electrodes should
be placed on intact skin only and with as much electrode-skin contact as possible. In the
case of strong interferences from electric devices, the position of the electrodes should
be verified and, if need be, repositioned. If the interference cannot be eliminated, please
contact the Ottobock Myo-Service.
9 Battery Management
Only use fully charged Ottobock batteries to operate the System Electric Hand with Digital Twin
Control.
The System Electric Hand with Digital Twin Control can be operated with the 757B20 / 757B21
Li-Ion battery EnergyPack, 757B25=* MyoEnergy Integral or 757B15 NiMH battery. For more infor-
mation regarding the batteries please consult the Operating Manual accompanying the batteries.
Attention ! As soon as the Digital Twin control unit
recognises a fully charged
757B20/757B21 EnergyPack or 757B25=* / 757B35=* MyoEnergy Integral, it automati-
cally switches to the new Li-Ion battery technology. Subsequently, only this technology
should be used to operate the system. If an Ottobock 757B15 X-ChangePack is used,
its capacity can no longer be fully utilised. However, the 757T13 Ottobock MyoSelect
can be used to reset the system for operation with X-ChangePack. For operational se-
curity and reliability, only 757B20, 757B21, 757B25=* 757B35=* or 757B15 Ottobock
batteries are to be used.
The default setting at delivery is optimzed for NiMH Batteries.
