Connection of protective earth to UPS is required.
When using third-party transformer power units, the main power can be controlled by means
of the relay, the coil of which is connected to the primary or secondary coil of the transformer (see
Figure 11).
The Main power monitoring circuit and Battery charge monitoring circuit are integrated into
"Lun-73T" Control Panel board, thus there is no
ACT
contact and no additional controller card is
required (see Figure 10).
Attention! To provide the correct start-up of the device, you shall restart it at least 10
s after it has been shut down!
14. “Lun-5N”, “Lun-7N”, and “Lun-73N” expanders
In order to enhance the capability of default Control Panel, "Lun-5N", "Lun-7N", and "Lun-73N"
expansion modules can be used.
It is possible to connect up to
30
"Lun-7N", "Lun-5N" or "Lun-73N" devices to the Control Panel.
The connection diagram is shown in Figure 12.
Depending on the functions required, the expander may be confgured as a separate group of
default device or as the expansion in the number of Control Panel zones.
14.1. Using of expanders to increase the number of the Control
Panel groups
Each expanders an independent protective group which has its own means of control and
indication, however, these devices have no individual means of message transmission to CMS, so
they use the Control Panel to deliver their messages to "Orlan" CMS. When there is no connection
between "Lun" basic device and "Lun-5N", "Lun-7N", or "Lun-73N” expander, arming and disarming
will be carried out by the local individual control means, while the message will be stored in the
memory of device until the basic device connection is recovered.
14.2. Using of expanders to increase the number of the Control
Panel zones
"Lun-7N" and "Lun-73N” may also be used to increase the number of basic Control Panel
zones. In this case, arming and disarming can be controlled by means of the basic Control Panel.
For this purpose, when confguring the basic device in "Confgurator" program, "
Number of zone
expanders"
parameter shall be set.
"Lind" control and indication devices connected to the expander, retain all their network
device control functions. The siren shall be connected locally to each expander.
When arming, it should be borne in mind that if there is any violated zone in any of the "zones
expanders", the basic device and all the “zone expanders” will not be armed. Thus, a specifc
