Registering / deregistering handsets
Register a handset
You only need to register a handset if it has become de-registered from the base or if you’ve
purchased a new handset separately. You can register up to 5 handsets.
Important:
Make sure any handset you’re registering is fully charged before you try to register it.
At the handset:
1. Press and hold
for approx 15 seconds until the display shows
Press & Hold Base Page Key

At the corded phone:
2. Press and hold
for at least 10 seconds until the display shows
Register
.
Deregister a handset
You may need to deregister a handset if you’ve too many registered on your phone system, or if the
handset develops a fault and needs to be replaced.
To deregister a handset using the corded phone
1. Open your menu by pressing

2. Scroll using
or
until you highlight
Remove HS
and press
.
3. Enter the PIN code and press
.
4. Enter the handset’s internal number (e.g. 2) and press
.
