the internal n u m b e r and if you are purchasing second and/or third
slaves
then you will have to r e - n u m b e r them (from 1 to 2 or 3). You will note
also (from figure 3) that with one or two extra drive units you will need
an extra power supply unit. A 5.25 inch 'floppy' disc drive can also be
used as a
slave,
h o w e v e r these are not sold by O R I C and you should
refer to their manuals provided, for user instructions. A 5.25 inch
'floppy' disc drive connects with the m i c r o c o m p u t e r in the same way as
the O R I C microdisc drive, h o w e v e r the power supply a r r a n g e m e n t may
be different.
Currently, all disc drives supplied by O R I C are single sided and all discs
are double sided.
