1. If you specify the R option, the filename must already exist on the
disc

If you specify the W option, the filename must N O T already exist
on the disc.
C L O S E a file (from reading or writing)
DESCRIPTION
C L O S E a file which is currently O P E N , (for reading from or writing to).
If the file was open for writing to, a new file is created by CLOSE.
INSTRUCTION
!CLOSE, [,<option>]
Where the <options> are:
W if the file is open for writing
R if the file is open for reading
If you wish to close a read file
and
a write file, do not specify an option.

To read specified data from R A M and write it to a file on disc.
