Step 4. Press “START” in the calibration menu on the iPad. The pump starts to
run.
Step 5. The readout value on the “MASS-VIEW” should be between 15 l/min
and 16 l/min. This can be influenced by changing the “MAX” value in the
calibration menu. If the readout value on the “MASS-VIEW” is too high, the
“MAX” value must be increased. If the readout value is too low, the “MAX” value
must be decreased. When ready, press “STOP”.
Step 6. Disconnect the “MASS-VIEW”, and connect the “Testo-512”. In the
calibration menu, to the right of the “START” button, the “set value” should be
20.0 mBar. If not, set it to 20.0 mBar using the – or + button (these buttons
are active only pressing “START” in Step 7).
Step 7. Press “START”. The pump starts to run. The pressure measured by the
CFPP Head is displayed in real-time in the calibration menu, and (if the Head is
in good shape) stabilizes automatically at 20.0 mBar.
Step 8. When the pressure is stable at 20 mBar, take the read-out value from
the “Testo-512” and enter this value in the offset field to the right of the
“CALIBRATE” button. Press “CALIBRATE” to store the offset data inside the
Head.
Step 9. Check that the readout value in the calibration menu matches the
readout value in the “Testo-512”.
Step 10. Press “STOP” to stop the calibration, then “DONE” to exit the menu.
