3.2.2 Humidity

3.2.3 Vibration and positioning
The product is a high precision instrument. Avoid mechanical shock and exposure to
vibrations: lenses are made of fragile materials which can fracture.
Always handle the product with care and use appropriate clamping mechanics to
position it.
Never use optical parts of the product as means of mechanical support.
Do not place the product on an unstable stand, tripod, base or table and on uneven
floors. If the lens were to fall, it could cause personal injury and may be damaged.
If the lens is placed vertically, with the mechanical axis nearly perpendicular (+/-30°) to
the floor, operators should never place their hands under the lens, to avoid injuries due
to the mechanical or optical components possibly falling.
The device has an IP rating of 20 and should be installed in a way for moisture and dirt
not to enter it.
An enclosure may also be required for other parts of the system, such as power
supplies. Such an enclosure would provide both mechanical and environmental
protection in industrial applications.
3.3 Clamping and power supply
3.3.1 Mechanical fixing
After the product has been set in place, according to the field of view, it can be secured
by using at least 2 of the 6 M3 clamping holes.
If you are using the product with a fixed focal lens and a camera, it is always
recommended to hold the entire system in place by using the M3 clamping holes. Avoid
holding the entire system in place by the camera or by the fixed focal lens. The filter
thread adapter is not the mechanical holder of the system.
3.3.2 Power supply
The system can be connected to the power supply using the CBGPIO001 cable listed in
the accessories section.
The electric power supply should not have voltage oscillation higher than ±5%.
Always check that the power supply cable is in good condition. Avoid stressing or
bending as the conductors could be damaged.
The power supply must have an appropriate earth connection.
