2.3.6 Analog control
AOL0223X includes two general purpose inputs which can be configured either as
analog or digital. These are NOT optoisolated ports. The electrical scheme of these GPI
is shown in Figure 6:

The input voltage divider is dimensioned to work with a 0-24V dynamic range for the
input signal.
The two Schottky diodes and the additional 100 Ohm resistor are necessary to avoid
possible transient overvoltages (over 3.3V) or undervoltages (below 0V). However, since
no optoisolation is present, please be careful to connect well-controlled signals.
