Operating the System
AS7200 User Manual - OPEX Corporation
Note:
View the piece information data on the Run screen to determine if the
image was marked (as VOID in the batch file) or unmarked. From the
batch editor you can decide whether or not to mark the voided images
in the resulting batch file by using the
M
ARK
V
OIDS
button.
Using Batch Editor to fix incomplete batches
If there is a problem with the machine and/or CertainScan does not close
properly during a run, a batch may not be closed and saved properly. If this is
the case, the operator will be notified that a temporary batch file exists when
restarting CertainScan, and that only an operator with a ManagerLevel account
or an OPEX technician can fix the problem.
Consult your AS7200 Administrator if you receive this error message.
IdAssist
The IdAssist Document Tracking System provides an additional method for
identifying and/or taking action on documents. Trigger the IdAssist function
associated with the job by dropping documents in the right front corner of the
conveyor, reducing the wait time associated with using the touchscreen
monitor.
Consult your AS7200 Administrator for more information on how IdAssist
works with your jobs.
The following functions are available as part of IdAssist:
Color
The color select trigger identifies documents that are to be scanned in
color without having to touch the screen. This is very useful in a color select
job, when you need to tell the system which documents to scan in color and
which documents to scan normally.
Dropout
Similar to color select, this allows for you to trigger a specified color
dropout for a document (red, green or blue).
Transaction boundary
Use the transaction boundary trigger instead of the
T
RANSACTION
button on the run screen. The transaction boundary trigger will
start a new transaction with the document that triggers the sensor.
Automatic rotation of document
Tell the system to rotate the resulting
image automatically.
