The USB flash drive formatting (initialization)
• CANCEL : Do not format the USB flash drive.
• EXECUTE : Format the USB flash drive.
CAUTION

Never remove the USB flash drive while formatting is in
progress.

Formatting the USB flash drive deletes all of its data.

Display information setting
Specifies whether display information (date and time, title, etc.)
should be shown on the LCD monitor.
This setting can also be used to specify the type of information
to be displayed.
ALL
: Show the date, time, title, "OLYMPUS"
logo, optical adapter name, zoom level,
and brightness level.
DATE/TIME/LOGO* : Show the date, time, title, and "OLYM-
PUS" logo.
DATE/TIME
: Show the date, time, and title.
OFF
: Hide information.
BEEP ON/
OFF
Specifies whether to sound the beep
Specifies whether beep tones sound from the built-in speak-
ers.
• ON* : Sound.
• OFF : Do not sound.
DATE TIME
Date and time settings
Configures date and time settings.
See "Setting the date and time" (P. 47).
LANGUAGE
Display language selection
Specifies the language used for menus and messages.
English and other languages are supported. The default is
"English".
