The remaining battery level can also be checked on the [POWER INDICATOR] of the battery.
(Note the remaining battery level shown on the LCD monitor is different from that shown on
the battery indicator.) For details, see "Checking the remaining battery level (on battery
alone)" (page 48).

If the battery and the external battery are connected to this instrument, the power is
supplied by the battery first. When the remaining battery level is depleted, the power is
supplied by the external battery automatically.

If the battery and/or the external battery is displayed in yellow, the temperature of the
battery and/or the external battery is too high. Wait until the temperate becomes the
appropriate level.
4.3 Turning ON the illumination
CAUTION:
Do not stare at the illumination light. Otherwise, your eyes may get injured.
4.3.1 Checking the lighting of the illumination at the distal end of the insertion tube
The light intensity is adjusted depending on the brightness of the inspection object.
TIP:
Always turn OFF the [LIGHT] button ( ) of the base unit when the instrument is not in use, such
as when replacing the optical adapter, etc.
