NOTE:
Do not clean the optical adapter under running water. Otherwise, the optical adapter may be
damaged.
9.3.4 Cleaning the LCD monitor
LCD monitor viewing problems due to fingerprints and dirt
Wipe the LCD monitor with a soft cloth moistened with clean water. Then, lightly wipe it with a
clean and dry cloth.
NOTE:

Never use a chemically treated cloth or strong detergent, such as benzine or alcohol.
Otherwise, the surface of the LCD monitor may be damaged.

Do not use a cloth that is hard, dirty, or has foreign substance on it. Otherwise, the surface of
the LCD monitor may be damaged.
9.3.5 Cleaning the centering device or the guide head
Dirt, oil or other foreign objects on the guide head or the centering device:
Wash thoroughly with cleaning solution such as neutral detergent, etc., and rinse it under running
water. Then, lightly wipe it with a clean and dry cloth.
In particular, make sure that no foreign objects remain on the screws.
9.3.6 Cleaning other units
If the units other than insertion tube, distal end, optical adapter or LCD monitor are dirty, wipe
them with a soft cloth moistened with clean water. Then, lightly wipe them with a clean and dry
cloth. Wipe away any dirt or water droplets on the inner face of the battery door, interface door,
SD card door and relay cable doors, as well as the mounting parts of each unit.
9.4 Removing water from the drain
If the following message appears, remove water from the drain of the drum unit.
