6.1.3 Using scaler measurement

1.

Start up

Press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick while the image to be measured is displayed.

2.

Specify the reference points

Align the cursor with one end of the object which is displayed in the image and of which
length is known, and press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick, and then align the cursor with the
other end and press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.

3.

Set the reference length

Operate the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick up/down/left/right, and input the known length
(reference length). Press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick to confirm the input.

4.

Specify the measuring points

Align the cursor with one end of the object you want to measure and press the
[MEAS/ENTER] joystick, and then align the cursor with the other end and press the
[MEAS/ENTER] joystick.

5.

Exit measurement

Select Menu -> <EXIT MEASUREMENT> -> <EXECUTE>.
