WARNING:
Do not insert or take out the external battery while connecting the external battery case to
the drum unit.
Do not use the external battery if any abnormality such as liquid leakage, etc. is found.
Do not use the external battery of a different type for the external battery case.
Do not use old batteries together with new batteries, or batteries together with those with
different charging states.
Do not use the battery other than the external battery such as alkaline battery, manganese
battery, etc. for the external battery case.
CAUTION:
If you are experiencing problems in inserting the external battery, do not attempt to insert
it forcibly.
Check the orientation of the external battery and check the terminals for abnormalities.
Attempting to insert the external battery forcibly into the compartment may cause malfunction.
If you are experiencing problems removing the external battery from the external battery
case, do not attempt to remove it forcibly.
Contact Olympus.
When replacing the external battery, do not repeat inserting or removing it rapidly.
Otherwise, the power may not be turned ON.
Do not store the external battery in the following locations.
l
Environments exposed to water, high temperature, high humidity, low humidity and dust
l
Locations exposed to direct sunlight or radiation
l
Locations exposed to gas containing halide

*1 The performance of some electrical parts may deteriorate due to the halide in
insecticides, pesticides and gaseous extinguishing agents, etc.
Do not use, charge or store the external battery in areas exposed to direct sunlight, in a
closed automobile in the sun, or near a heater, etc.
Do not use the external battery if it shows any irregularity such as fluid leakage,
discoloration, deformation, abnormal odor or other abnormality.
Do not immerse the external battery in fresh water or sea water, or allow the external
battery to get wet.
