H GAIN
(horizontal gain)
The
H GAIN
(horizontal gain) setting controls the BondMaster 600 horizontal
gain.
To change the
H GAIN
setting, press the MAIN menu key (
) followed by
the C key, and then rotate the knob to the desired horizontal gain value.
V GAIN
(vertical gain)
The
V GAIN
(vertical gain) setting controls the BondMaster 600 vertical gain.
To change the
V GAIN
setting, the MAIN menu key (
) followed by the
D key, and then rotate the knob to the desired vertical gain value.

MIA Mode — MAIN Menu
In the mechanical impedance analysis (MIA) mode, a frequency sweep with the probe
on a good part is compared to the frequency sweep of the probe on a defective part.
This determines a suitable frequency for performing the test (see Figure 5-6 on
page 81).
