Camera Direct Photo Printing
If a digital camera with PictBridge (1.0 or later) is connected to the machine
via the USB Host Port, images stored on the digital camera can be printed
directly on the machine.

The following features are not supported with Camera Direct Photo
Printing.
• DPOF AUTOPRINT image print
• Borderless
• Cable disconnect enable
• DPOF cable disconnect recovery
Index print and printing using an
N-UP LAYOUT
setting is possible
only with Letter- and A4-size media.

Make sure that the paper loaded into the paper tray is the same size
as that selected for
PAPER SIZE
in the
DIRECT PRINT
menu.
"
The types of media that can be used with Camera Direct Photo Print-
ing are plain paper, thick stock, labels, glossy media, and postcard.
Printing Directly from a Digital Camera

DIRECT PRINT
menu, specify settings for
IMAGE QUAL-
ITY
,
PAPER SIZE
, and
N-UP LAYOUT
.

If these settings can be specified from the digital camera, they do
not need to be specified from the control panel. These settings are
overridden by settings configured within the digital camera.
For details on control panel settings, refer to “DIRECT PRINT
Menu” on page 32.

Printing is not possible if the media size (image size) specified
from the camera is larger than the media size selected for
PAPER
SIZE
in the
DIRECT PRINT
menu.
