Step 4: Check the Location for Storing the Files in the Printer’s
Memory

If your printer is equipped with an internal hard disk drive, the
Storage Device Manager will automatically save the forms to the
PostScript partition on the hard drive.
•
If your printer does not have an internal hard disk drive, the Storage
Device Manager will automatically store the forms in the PostScript
section of the Flash memory.
To store the forms in the Flash memory instead of on the hard disk
drive:
1.
Double-click the file name in the Project window.
The Edit Component Name and ID dialog box appears.
2.
Under
Volume
, type in%Flash0%, then click
OK
.
Step 5: Save the Project and Download it to the Printer
1.
Click
Projects
→
Save Project
.
2.
Click
Projects
→
Send Project Files to Printer
.
Command Issued appears.
3.
Click
OK
.
Step 6: Test Print the Form
1.
With Storage Device Manager open and the appropriate printer
icon highlighted, click
ers
→
Test Form
.
The Test PostScript Form dialog box appears.
2.
Click the file name for the form you wish to print (you can get this
from the File List printout), then click
OK
.
Command Issued appears.
3.
Click
OK
and wait for the form to print.
