Add Parameter
The Add Parameter function will allow an operator to customize options for a particular
respirator if the desire is to test outside of the standard testing parameters. You will need to
enter:
o
Parameter name
o
Challenge Pressure: The negative pressure rate at which a respirator is tested

O is used for CBRN and military function

O is used for SCBA respirators
o
Modeled Breathing Rate: The breath that is
emulated during the fit test

•
93.1 L/min is used for SCBA respirators
o
Passing fit factor: The minimum fit factor required to pass a test step and overall fit factor.
Change Regulation
The QuantiFit2 is designed so that when a regulation is selected, all tests are automatically
executed with the correct settings. New regulations will be added in future updates as they
become available or are modified. Links to select regulations are listed in
Export Database to USB Drive
Allows users to create and save a complete backup of the onboard database including people, fit
tests, operators, selected respirators, and various other settings.
Import Database File From USB Drive
This is how you restore a backup database and can also be used to share databases across
multiple units.
System Reset Options
There are numerous reset options according to which
information needs to be reset:

Clear People List will remove all the people in the
current database.
o
Clear Test Records will keep the people list but will
delete all test information.
o
Clear Operators will remove all operators listed in
the unit.
o
Clear Custom Parameters will remove any parameters that have been manually added to the
database.
o
Restore System Defaults will change all operational settings to the settings that were
