3. Adapter Fault
a. The adapters must be kept clean and in good shape.
b. Disconnect and reconnect all tubes to make sure the connectors “snap” securely into place.
Hold the assembly by the tubes rather than the metal connector.
c. To verify the adapter is air-tight, connect only the blue tube to the adapter with the single
tube connection. Submerge the adapter and tube connection completely under water. Then
press and hold the SEAL CHECK button for at least 5 seconds. Repeat this several times. If
bubbles like boiling water are seen coming from the adapter, there is a leak in the
diaphragm or in the eight screws holding the top plate on. Replace the diaphragm and
tighten screws firmly. Conduct the test again to ensure no bubbles are seen.
d. Check all screws and connectors. If the screws on the top of the adapter are not tight, or if
the tube connector ports can be turned by hand, this means they are not tight enough and
may be introducing a leak into the system.
Daily Verification Errors
The Daily Verification normally functions to completion without any intervention from the
Operator. However, occasional problems may arise. The calibration procedure may stop abruptly
or display an error message.
Possible Problems:
o
Something has blocked or partially obstructed the leak orifice on the Dual Tube Assembly and
has rendered the tube out of tolerance.
o
The transducer needs factory calibration.
o
Check all tubing for holes or tears.
Possible Solution:
o
Turn QuantiFit2 off, wait 15 seconds, power on, and retry Daily Verification.
o
Remove and replace all tubes.
o
Contact OHD Tech Support to evaluate problem or to arrange return to OHD Service
Department.
Bluetooth Connection Issues
If you are having issues connecting via Bluetooth, make sure you are pairing from the Logic
Software and not through Windows settings. Next check that in your Windows Bluetooth
settings that the button is set to “On”
