7. If it is not the first time connecting, please select
Show/Hide Advanced
Settings
and ensure the default settings as per the screen shot below are
entered in for the
Speed
,
Data Bits
,
Parity
, and
Stop Bits
. Press
Open
.
The user should now witness a Device Window full of information similar
to the image on the next page.
8. If all settings are according to the defaults and a successful connection is
not established, try changing
Auto-Detect Settings
to
Yes
. Now press
Open
. This will cycle through the possible combinations of connections
settings to determine if the receiver was previously connected on different
settings.
