User Setting
This section describes the parameters and main settings that can be speci-
fied after pressing the [Menu/Select] key, then selecting “User Setting”.

Detail
“Set Date” appears only if “Time Adjustment” in the “Admin. Setting”
menu is set to “ON”.
Parameters Description Initial Setting
Meter Count Prints the total checklist. —
Check Consumable Prints the checklist for consumables. —
Settings Info. Prints a list of the machine settings. —
Font List Prints the font lists for PCL mode or PS
mode. —
Demo Page Prints the demo page. —
Parameters Description Initial Setting
Language Setting Specify the screen display language. English
Daylight Saving Select whether or not the machine’s internal
clock observes daylight saving time, and
specify the time difference for daylight saving
time between 1 and 150 minutes. OFF
Auto Reset Specify the setting (between 1 and 9 minutes
or “OFF”) for the desired length of time until
the automatic system reset operation is per-
formed. 1 Min.
Date/Time Setting Specify the date, time and time zone for the
machine’s internal clock. —
Set Date “Set Date” appears only if “Time Adjustment”
in the “Admin. Setting” menu is set to “ON”. —
