Paper jams that the key operator can clear
The key operator can clear many paper jams. The key operator can clear the
following paper jams in the process paper path.
■
Between the paper input section and the paper positioning module
■
Between the receiver unit and the postfuser
■
In the receiver unit
■
In the preheater
■
In the postfuser
■
Around the intermediate cleaner
■
Around the pressure roller cleaner.
Note: If there is a paper jam around the intermediate cleaner, the key operator
must replace the cleaner (see ‘Replace the intermediate cleaner’ on page 42).
If there is a paper jam around the pressure roller cleaner, the key operator
must also replace the cleaner (see ‘Replace the pressure roller cleaner’ on
page 54).
Paper jams that require a service call
There are paper jams that require a service call. For example a paper jam
between the postfuser and the paper output section.
