Replace the waste toner box
Introduction
The key operator must replace the waste toner box when the box is full. The
KOM warning icon on the operator panel indicates that key operator
maintenance is required. The screen of the KOM mode shows the message that
the key operator must replace the waste toner box.
Before you begin

In case of preventive maintenance, the key operator must start KOM on the
operator panel. Press the keys for ’System manager’ -> ’System’ -> ’KOM’
on the operator panel.
In case of corrective maintenance, the error screen appears. Follow the
instructions on the screen.

Enter the KOM PIN code.

If required, select ’Waste toner box’. Press the key for ’Yes’. The system
turns off for maintenance.
General procedure
Attention: Take the actions in the described order.

Open the front door.

Remove the waste toner box.
3
Put a new waste toner box into the CPG frame.
4
Close the front door.
