Replace the pressure roller cleaner
Introduction
The key operator must access the KOM mode when the KOM warning icon on
the system monitor has changed into orange. The screen of the KOM mode
shows the message that the key operator must replace the pressure roller
cleaner. The key operator must replace the pressure roller cleaner for the
following reasons.
■
The cleaner has reached the end of life.
■
A paper jam has occurred around the pressure roller cleaner.
Before you begin
■
In case of preventive maintenance, the key operator must start KOM on the
operator panel. Press the keys for ’System manager’ -> ’System’ -> ’KOM’
on the operator panel.
In case of corrective maintenance, the error screen appears. Follow the
instructions on the screen.
■
Enter the KOM PIN code.
■
If required, select ’Pressure roller cleaner’. Press the key for ’Yes’. The
system turns off for maintenance.
Note Attention Caution
Attention: Never touch the intermediate drum. Any contact of persons or
objects with the intermediate drum can damage the drum.
Caution:
The system is hot. Wait until the system has cooled down.
