Change to the directory containing the created image, for example:
cd
/var/lib/SLEPOS/system/images/configuration_name

Connect an empty USB stick with sufficient capacity to the computer. All data
from the USB stick will be erased in the following step.

The created files now have to be copied to the USB stick using KIWI. Run the
following command from your terminal emulator:
kiwi --bootstick
path_to_the_initrd
--bootstick-system
path_to_system_image
For example:
kiwi --bootstick
initrd-usbboot-SLEPOS11.i686-3.1.7.gz
--bootstick-system
configuration_name.i686-1.0.0
NOTE: Name Completion
You can use

to complete the filenames.
Available USB devices will be listed. Enter the name of the device you want to
use. The initrd and system images will be copied to the disk and GRUB will be
installed.

Documentation in RPM Format
To include documentation packages in RPM format into your images, follow this pro-
cedure:

Create a new image with Image Creator.

Finish the image settings and quit the Image Creator without building the image.
