6.0 - TROUBLESHOOTING
DANGER
NEVER ENTER BIN UNLESS ALL POWER IS LOCKED
OUT AND ANOTHER PERSON IS PRESENT.
Exposed auger and moving parts can cause severe
injury or death. Rotating augers are dangerous!
Flowing grain may trap and suffocate.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE SE-
RIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
DANGER
ROTATING AUGER HAZARD KEEP AWAY
To prevent serious injury or death from rotating
augers:
1. Do not enter bin unless power is locked out.
2. Turn machine OFF, shut down and lock out power
source, unplug power cord and wait for all moving
parts to stop before inspecting, servicing or repairing
machine.
3. Keep body, hair, and clothing away from moving parts.
4. Stay away from rotating augers. Keep others away.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
Troubleshooting Field Problems
Problem
Possible Cause
Solution
Auger will not start
rotating.
No Power.
Turn power on at master panel.
Check fuses at master panel.
No grain flow.
Sump Plugged.
Empty bin and clean out sump. Remove trash
from top of grain before starting.
Sump Empty.
Open other sump(s).
Bin empty.
Start Power Sweep auger
Sump closed.
Open slider gates.
Slow grain flow from
powerhead discharge.
Obstruction in sweep.
Remove obstruction.
Damaged or bent flighting.
Repair or bend flighting back to original shape.
If this doesn’t work, replace flighting
Sweep is touching floor or drive wheel is not
adjusted properly
Adjust sweep and ensure drive wheel is in
working condition
Gearbox won’t engage
Power Sweep
Gearbox shift lever isn’t adjusted correctly.
Adjust lever to proper position.

Unload auger isn’t set on spline correctly.
Loosen powerhead and push auger onto gearbox
spline.

Gearbox won’t stay
engaged
Power Sweep engagement lever moving from
"Engage" position.
Adjust shaft collar towards lever and re tighten.
