ADD TO END OF TRIP
key.
The 961 adds the waypoint to the end of your trip, and
returns to the
WAYPOINTS
screen.
Restarting the track
When navigating from one waypoint to another, you may find
that you’ve wandered off the desired track: Perhaps you
steered to avoid an obstacle, or simply drifted slightly
off-course. Whenever you’re off-course for any reason, there
are two tracks you can take to the waypoint:
•
after passing the obstacle, you can steer your vessel back
to the original desired track using the XTE display (see
track 1 below), and continue to the waypoint
•
if you don’t need to return to the original desired track,
you can continue directly to the next waypoint (see track
2 below) using the restart track function, without steering
to the original desired track.
