Reboot the server and press F1 to access the planar BIOS
configuration utility.
The following steps ensure that the Power-on password is not
configured by deleting all existing Power-on passwords.

Select System Security > Power-on Password.

Highlight Delete Power-on Password and press Enter.
The following message appears:
Any existing power-on password will be deleted.

Press Enter to confirm.

Press Esc to cancel and return to the previous menu.

Select Start Options.

Highlight Planar Ethernet PXE/DHCPand choose Disabled.

Highlight USB Disk and choose Disabled.

Select Startup Sequence Options.

Highlight First Startup Device and choose CD ROM.

Highlight Second Startup Device and choose Hard Disk 0.

Highlight Third Startup Device and choose Disabled.

Highlight Fourth Startup Device and choose Disabled.

Highlight Wake On LAN and choose Disabled.

Press Esc twice to return to the top-level menu.

Select Devices and I/O Ports.

Highlight Serial Port A and choose Port 3F8, IRQ 4.

Highlight Serial Port B and choose Disabled.

Press Esc to return to top level menu.

Select Date and Time.

Highlight Time and enter the current local time.

Highlight Date and enter the current local date.

Press Esc to return to top level menu.

Select Save Settings and press Enter when the confirmation
message displays.
