Querying the Network Interface Card firmware
Use this procedure to determine the current Network Interface Card (NIC)
firmware version.
Prerequisites
•
You must be assigned to the SSA role (ntsysadm)
Procedure Steps

Log on to the system as the SSA role (ntsysadm).

Run the following command:
sudo ethtool –i <ethernet_device>
The system displays the device properties, including the
currently installed firmware version.

Querying the hard drive firmware
Use this procedure to determine the current hard drive firmware version.
Prerequisites

You must be assigned to the SSA role (ntsysadm)

Log on to the server as the SSA role (ntsysadm).

Run the following command:
arcconf GETCONFIG 1 pd
The system displays the physical device information for each
installed hard drive. The firmware version is included in the list
of information for each device.
