In the LoadServer Addr field, type the IP address of the desired
TFTP server. If the configuration file is saved to a USB storage
device, skip this step.

In the AsciiConfigFilename field, type the name under which to
store the configuration file.

If you save the configuration file to a USB storage device, enter
the stack unit number in which the USB device is inserted in the
UsbTargetUnit field.

Select uploadNow in the AsciiConfigManualUpload field to
transfer the file to a TFTP server; or, select uploadToUsb in the
AsciiConfigManualUpload field to transfer the file to a USB mass
storage device.

Click Apply.

Check the AsciiConfigManualUpldStatus field for the file transfer
status. If the status of the file upload is s inProgress, wait for up to 2
minutes, and then click Refresh to see any new status applied to
the upload. The file upload is complete when the status displays
either Passed or Failed.

Retrieving an ASCII configuration file
To retrieve an ASCII configuration file from a TFTP server or from a USB
storage device and apply it to the switch, perform the following procedures.

Open the JDM FileSystem screen by selecting Edit > File System
from the JDM menu.

Select the Ascii Config File tab. This tab is displayed in
"AsciiConfigFile tab" (page 93)

If you retrieve the configuration file from a USB storage device, skip
this step. Otherwise, in the LoadServer Addr field, type the IP
address of the desired TFTP server.

In the AsciiConfigFilename field, type the name under which to
store the configuration file.

If you retrieve the configuration file from a USB storage device,
enter the stack unit number in which the USB device is inserted in
the UsbTargetUnit field.
