Scanning Whole Body

Ensure that the laser is OFF, move the scanner arm above the patient’s head.

Caution:

Caution the patient not to stare into the beam.

3. Press

to turn the laser ON.

4. MARKING THE START POINT: move the scanner arm until the laser positioning dot is approximately 1-cm

above the top of the center of the patient’s head and press

. (The computer will emit a sound, and the

laser will turn OFF.)

Note:

Click

in the dialog box to re-mark the start point. Click

at any time to

abort the marking operation.

5. MARKING THE SOFT TISSUE POINT: move the scanner arm over the patient’s abdomen.
