Routine Maintenance Procedures

The following maintenance procedures are for the S-920 Series Dispensing Systems only.
Refer to the appropriate manual for recommended maintenance procedures for your
specific fluid dispensing applicator.
Routine maintenance procedures and required intervals are listed in Table 7-1.

1. Remove the Purge Station cover.
2. Carefully clean the boot and Purge Station cover with
a small brush or soft cloth and the cleaning agent
recommended by the fluid manufacturer. Inspect the
rubber boot for damage. Replace if needed. See

Clean Encoder Strips
and Read Heads

Using lint-free cotton pads or swabs wetted with alcohol,
wipe the encoder strips for their full length and inspect for
damage. Similarly, clean the read heads to remove dirt,
dust, or foreign material.
