MISCELLANEOUS CONTROLS

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
Front/Side/Rear Wipers
Three position switch. OFF - LOW - HIGH
Cab Pressurizer
Two position switch. ON/OFF. Must be in the ON position during working operations
or whenever airborne particles are kicked up by either this machine or another in the
gang.
ELECTRICAL
INTERLOCK
When pulled, allows normal machine operation.
When pressed, disables propulsion, and de-energizes the cutterheads.
EMERGENCY STOP
Shuts down machine completely in the event of a catastrophic problem. Not meant to
be used as a normal way to shut down the machine.
FILTER STATUS
LIGHTS
GREEN LIGHT
RED LIGHT
Lights will give status of filters.
Filter does not require servicing.
Alarm state. Filter requires servicing or element requires replacing.
PARKING BRAKE
Diamond shaped button below the ignition key. Press to apply brakes, pull to release
brakes.
EMERGENCY PUMP
Momentary switch, hold to use pump. Use pump in 20 second increments only.
CAB HEATER

BUZZER
PUSH TO SILENCE
Alarm sounds on either a Boom Swing Alarm Light or Turntable Monitor Alarm Light. .
Pushing the "Silence" button silences the alarm for 10 minutes, allowing you time to
correct the issue without listening to the alarm.
Timer resets when alarm faults are corrected, buzzer will turn on again when faults
reoccur or if fault has not been corrected during that 10 minute period.
TURNTABLE
MONITOR
ALARM LIGHT
Green light indicates that the turntable is in the UP position. Red light indicates that
the turntable is in the DOWN position. Alarm will sound on the DOWN position and
will remain on until the "Silence" button (above) is pressed.
If your machine is equipped with counterweights, the Cutter Arm Select switch must be
in the CUT BOTH position before the TT can be used. Failure to do so may result in
severe personal injury.
