Enable or disable
Print Billing Command
, as required. This feature enables NSE to
support Driverless Print servers. If this feature is enabled, you must enable the XML
interface and enter the IP address for the XML interface (Step 4 and Step 5). With Print
Billing enabled, print servers can bill subscribers’ rooms for printing their documents
without them having to install printers.
The DNS name print.server.com will internally resolve to the Configured Print Server
URL that is entered in the configuration. When subscribers are redirected to the Print
Server the NSE adds Parameters to that request, so that the Server is able to charge the
proper subscriber.
With these variables sent to the server it can now send the XML command to bill the users
properly.
Print Server IP needs to be entered as one of the XML server IP for the command to
successfully complete.
The XML command is:
<USG COMMAND="BILL_PRINT" IP_ADDR="">
<ROOM_NUM></ROOM_NUM>
<DOC_NAME></DOC_NAME>
<NUM_COPIES></NUM_COPIES>
<NUM_PAGES></NUM_PAGES>
<COST></COST>
<TIME_SUBMITTED></TIME_SUBMITTED>
</USG>
Subscribers could get to print.server.com by:
z
ICC button link
z
Printout in the hotel room
z
Link from the hotel’s HPR Page.
7.
Enable or disable the
AAA Passthrough Port
feature, as required.
System administrators can set the AG 5500 to pass-through HTTPS traffic, in addition to
standard port 80 traffic, without being redirected. When access to a non-HTTPS address
(for example, a Search Engine or News site) has been requested, the subscriber is then
redirected as usual.
Your product license may not support this feature.
