IP100 Series Installation Guide

Note these points:

•

There is no way to log out the user when the modem disconnects. If 
you disconnect without logging out, the next dial-in user will not have 
to log in. To eliminate this problem, set the 

autologout

 parameter 

in the 

.cshrc

 file on the NAP to 

admin

.

•

When you first connect to the modem, you might need to press return 
a few times to get a login prompt.

•

If you appear to be experiencing problems with flow control, try 
adding these AT commands:

For the Best Data fax modem, follow these procedures:

A.

Pass this AT string to the modem:

After entering this command, you will not see your own typing or 
any response from the modem.
