Removing the Battery
Being careful not to drop the battery, open the
battery-chamber cover and remove the battery as
shown at right.

Stand-By Mode
When disconnected from the camera, the UT-1 will turn off automatically
after the delay chosen for the
Auto power off
option in the
Wireless
transmitter
menu (
0
93), reducing the drain on the battery.
A
Battery Level
The level of the battery inserted in the UT-1 can be determined by
connecting the UT-1 to the camera (
0
33, 62) and checking the battery
level using the
Battery info
option (
0
92) in the camera setup menu.
A
Using an AC Adapter
An optional EP-5B power connector and EH-5b or EH-5/EH-5a AC adapter
can also be used to power the camera when the UT-1 is connected.
