The external stimulators are connected to the trig in as follows:

1.  Connect the external stimulator to the trig in with a cable.

2.  Switch on the external stimulator power supply.

3.  Run the program and check the

Third-party firm stimulator

 checkbox on

the

Hardware

 tab (Fig. 23).

4.  In the stimulation settings it is recommended to set those stimulus parameters

which the external stimulator has as these particular values are saved together
with the trace and taken into analysis.

In other aspects the signal acquisition does not differ from the one described

in the corresponding chapters of the given manual.

The external stimulators connected to the trig out are used as follows:

1.  Disconnect all standard stimulators from the device: headphones, OAE probe,

bone vibrator.
