Log to USB
The USB Port found on the IPDU-S4 and IPDU-S8 enables the user to make the event and data log files portable. The IPDU-Sx
will record event and data logs to a USB flash drive in addition to the internal IPDU-Sx memory when the feature is enabled. To
use the USB port, carefully follow the steps below.
1.
Place a USB flash drive in the USB port.
2.
Toggle the “Enable Log to USB” option from “No” to “Yes”.
3.
Press <
Tab
> to go to Save and press <
Enter
>.

Note: If the flash drive is not connected before enabling the feature, the IPDU-Sx will not recognize the flash drive.
4.
The data and event logs will be recorded to both the USB flash drive and the IPDU-Sx internal memory.
5.
Toggle the “Enable Log to USB” option
back to “No”
before
removing the flash drive from the USB port.
Removing the flash drive before disabling the feature may cause any file(s) on flash drive to be corrupted.
System Information
The System Information page lists current firmware, time, and network settings for the IPDU-Sx. It also lists the IPDU-SX MAC
address.
