Configuring a Mail Server for Certificate Management System
To configure the server from which Certificate Management System can send mail:
1.
Open the CMS console window and select the Configuration tab.
2.
Click the SMTP tab.
3.
Type the host name of your mail server in the “Server name” field.
4.
Enter the port number your server uses for SMTP in the Port Number field.
If you are certain that your server uses a port number other than 25 for SMTP,
enter it in the “Port number” field. However, it is unlikely that any server uses
a different number for the well-known SMTP service.
5.
Click Save.
Configuring Certificate Management System to Send Renewal
Reminders
To configure Certificate Management System to send renewal reminders:
1.
Open the CMS console window and select the Configuration tab.
2.
Open Job Scheduler in the navigation tree.
3.
Select Jobs.
4.
Select
certRenewalNotifier
in the Job Instance tab.
