Other Requirements
• On UNIX systems, you must install as
root
in order to use well-known
port numbers (such as 443) that are less than 1024. If you do not plan to
use port numbers less than 1024, you do not need to install as root. If you
plan to run the Administration Server as root, you should also install as
root and specify the default user and group,
nobody
, as the system ID
for other server processes.

On a Windows NT system, you must install as Administrator or a
user with Administrator privileges (that is, the user must be in
the
Administrators
group).
