Desktop Cover Removal 

Remove the desktop cover as follows. 

1. 

Power off and unplug the keyboard, mouse, power, and all other peripheral cables at-
tached to the system unit. 

2. 

Remove the two cover screws shown in Figure Section 3-1.

Slide the top cover toward the rear about one inch (see Figure Section 3-2). 

4. 

Lift the top cover up and off.
