Audio connectors — minitower models
External Connectors
Your peripheral components attach to connectors on the
back of your computer. This is where you connect the
monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and printer.
NOTE
Your system might have additional boards not
shown in the previous figures. Boards and board
locations vary depending on the model and options you
purchased.
Keyboard port
Connect the keyboard that comes with your computer to
this port. The keyboard port supports a personal system
(PS)/2
®
-compatible, 104-key keyboard with a 6-pin
mini DIN connector.
Mouse port
Attach the mouse that comes with your computer to this
port. The mouse port supports a PS/2-compatible
mouse.
