LED2
LED2 turns green when the power unit in the Device Expansion Unit is turned on.
With power unit N8181-54F installed additionally, the LED lights in green as long as the
power unit operates normally. If the LED turns red in the 1-power configuration, it indicates
that an error is detected in the unit fan or the power unit.
The table below shows the actions to be taken under the condition that power unit
N8181-54F is installed additionally.

Unit fan supply 1 is failed. Turn off the power
of the Device Expansion Unit immediately and
disconnect the power plug. Then contact your
maintenance service company.
Lighting in red
An error is detected
in power supply 2.
Power supply 2 is failed. Turn off the power of
the Device Expansion Unit immediately and
disconnect the power plug. Then contact your
maintenance service company.
NOTE:
- Even if a power unit is failed in the redundant power
configuration with an optional power unit installed, the
Device Expansion Unit can continue to operate with
the remaining power unit operating normally.
- Before replacing the failed power unit, the powers of
the NEC Express Servers connected with the Device
Expansion Unit must be turned off.
- An AC inlet is provided for each power unit
