Setting of the DC Power Switch 

The DC power switch installed on the rear face of the Device Expansion Unit can control 

the unit’s power on/off. 
<Turning on the Power of Device Expansion Unit> 
To turn on the power of the Device Expansion Unit, follow the procedure below: 
1. Set the DC power switch to ON. 

 

<Turning off the Power of Device Expansion Unit> 
To turn off the power of the Device Expansion Unit, follow the procedure below: 
1. Set the DC power switch to OFF. 

 

IMPORTANT:

 The power of the Device Expansion Unit 

cannot be turned on/off by turning on/off the power of 

the NEC Express Server connected with the Device 

Expansion Unit. To turn on/off the power of the Device 

Expansion Unit, set the DC power switch on the rear 

face of the Device Expansion Unit to ON/OFF.
